Shawnee National Forest

Garden Zero. Garden of the Gods Wilderness, Shawnee National Forest. Oak leaves form a cirlce on rocks perched at the edge of this 3,000 acre wilderness.Recovering second growth native forests are plentiful in the Shawnee and this national forest is one of the few in the U.S. where all commerical logging has been halted.
